1.  What will my auto glass repair cost?
A.  The cost depends on the type of job.  Normally a typical stone chip repair will cost anywhere from $40 to $100.  The cost depends on the city you live in, how far we have to travel to come to you and also whether the chip is starting to turn into a crack or not.  Call us and we will asses your glass situation on the phone and give you an exact quote. 

2.  What will my windshield replacement cost? 
A.  Windshield replacement cost depends on the type of car you drive.  On older cars the glass is cheaper and on newer cars the cost of glass replacement is higher.  If your car has a rain sensor, lane departure, or any other sensor on the glass, then the cost goes up.  Give us a call with the make and model of your car and we can give you an exact quote so there is no surprises at the time of the windshield installation.

3.  Can I drive my car after the windshield replacement? 
A.  The drive away time depends on the humidity and temperature of the environment and also the type of glue used by the technician.  Almost all types of urethane (glue use for glass) allows a safe drive away time of three hours.  However, glues that allow immediate drive away time are also available.  If you know you need to drive your car right after the windshield replacement, request at the time of ordering for the glue that dries faster. 

4.  What is OEM and aftermarket glass?
A.  OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer.  An OEM glass is a glass manufactured by the factory that manufactured the original glass for your car.  You have to remember that there maybe more than one company that supplied glass for your car at time of its manufacturing.  So, there maybe more than one brand of OEM glass for your car.   An aftermarket glass is company that did not make the original part, but now has copies of the original part and this gets sold as an aftermarket glass.

5.  How long does a windshield stone chip repair take.
A.  It takes only 15 to 20 minutes to repair a stone chip.  However if the windshield is cracked, it may take up to 30 minutes to do the windshield crack repair.

6.  How long does it take to replace a windshield?
A.  A windshield replacement could take anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours.  It depends on the make and model of your car, and also the speed of the technician doing the auto glass replacement.  Call us and we can tell you exactly how much time it takes so you can better manage your day.
